A public affairs platform which focusses on uniting the world via spreading the idea of Bharat by sensitising tomorrow’s leaders, today. To create leaders without creating noise. I.I.M.U.N. actualises this vision under tutelage of its parent organisation Taking India Forward Foundation.

I.I.M.U.N. does this through organising MUN conferences, Leadership Series, Study Tours, Social Impact Projects apart from various other activities.

Active Advisory Board members: Ajay Piramal, Deepak Parekh, Nadir Godrej, Shashi Tharoor, Jayant Sinha, AR Rahman, Former Chiefs of Armed Forces, PT Usha.

Apart from this we have two boards - International Advisory Board comprising of Former Head of Nations & an Academic Board which comprises of intellectuals, diplomats, historians who help us decide agendas the organisation must focus on.

26,000+ students aged 15-22. Many of these students after their time have gone on to become elected members of government, authors, lawyers, actors and business leaders.

5 crore+ adolescents via concourses in 220 cities in India and across 35 countries.

32 Heads of Nations, Academy Award Winners, Nobel Laureates, Hollywood and Bollywood Luminaries amongst over 34,000+ others.

METHOD

The organization is structured into four verticals:

Building Glocal Citizens:

Empowering youth to address global issues through: MUN clubs (100,000+ schools), Chapter Conferences (108+ cities), International chapters (15+ countries), and a global finale (Mumbai/New York/Davos).

Leadership Development:

Bridging academia & industry through Role Model Series (Interviews with Industry Veterans recorded before a live student audience and shared with schools), Born to Build (interviews with young entrepreneurs), Study Tours (12 annual domain-specific tours).

Promoting Literature:

Promoting reading in Tier-2 cities through accessible student-centric literature festivals.

Social Impact Projects:

Addressing key issues like and supporting marginalised communities via campaigns such as Menstrual hygiene awareness, women empowerment, climate change. Impacted (700+ villages) via 1,000+ social campaigns (Eg. My First Vote, Find a Bed, UN reforms).
