The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organisation established on 24 October 1945 to promote international cooperation. The organisation was created following World War II to prevent another conflict. Most nations are members of the UN and send people to the headquarters to hold meetings and pass resolutions about global issues. Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation and/or academic competition in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. MUN involves and teaches researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. At Indian International Model United Nations, we bring together a diverse cluster of informed school and university students from around the world to address current global issues. Our conferences are empirical learning devices that offer students with an enhanced understanding of the workings of the United Nations and a platform to hone skills in diplomacy, cooperation, critical thinking, public speaking, leadership skills and research. We yearn for spreading knowledge and broadening horizons by defying the orthodox. By delivering germane and varied committees combined with the unsurpassed and the finest executive board, we strive to make the experience at our conferences the most educative and unforgettable. In a nutshell, at Indian International Model United Nations, we provide an interactive educational experience that educates in a fascinating and enjoyable way about the United Nations. We, through our endeavour contribute our bit in making the youth informed global citizens who not only recognize the resolution their nation formulates but also how those changes effect politics nationally, regionally, and globally.
