In its attempt to groom the future leaders of the world, IIMUN in its journey to every nook and cranny of this world will take its second visit to the hilly capital of Nagaland. In its previous visit to the city, IIMUN loved the experience it had with the epistemophilic delegates. Kohima is undoubtedly the most charming place to visit in Nagaland. The blend of the ancient and the modern has painted this town in an interesting colour and Kohima has become an indelible landmark for the state. This conference will be an attempt to only strengthen further the bond IIMUN shares with this city and to provide students of every school of Kohima a memorable experience and teachings in diplomacy.

Report

Kohima, a beautiful city named after the Kewhri flower. The people of this city are extremely kind, friendly and trustworthy. There is a common statement that says that the Nagas are have a lot of mutual trust that they don't even lock their houses.
On 10th, 11th and 12th February, 2017 Indian International Model United Nations visited this beautiful city at G. Rio School where it not only fell in love with its scenic beauty but also with the warmth and the kindness of the localities. Their faces were always lit up with smiles which didn't fade away for even a second.
The Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony was Mr Neiphiu Rio, MP of Nagaland and Ex-Chief Minister of Nagaland. He enthralled the audience with his eloquent speech. The Guest of Honour was Mr Alobo Naga who is an internationally renowned musician. The delegates were awestruck by his performance.
We loved the enthusiasm that was shown by the delegates during the conference.
We hope to see y'all soon and will come back next year, BIGGER BETTER AND STRONGER!
